My short play about Gregor Mendel and his infamous pea plants was commissioned by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. It was presented at Ensemble Studio Theatre as part of the Youngblood Science Brunch: Do Androids Dream of Electric Brunch?
Treason & Other Ways to Say I Love You
This was my first play as a member of EST/Youngblood. The title, actors and director were picked from a hat. The inspiration was drawn from a tarot card. I wrote about a workplace lottery pool that goes terribly wrong.
New Works/No Limits
Art Therapy was selected as the premiere reading of The New Group's New Works/No Limits reading series curated by Thomas Bradshaw.
I performed jokes about millennials, Crossfit and Asian things.
I Hate Kate
My play about aggressive Facebook posting had a work-in-progress reading at Shetler Studios.
Hudson Valley Comedy Competition
I competed in The Hudson Valley Comedy Competition and placed first in my preliminary round at Nyack Pour House. I was the only female finalist at Levity Live where I told jokes about living in the Midwest, eating as a sport and Law & Order: SVU.
I appeared as a "Produce Runway" contestant on ABC's The Chew. I answered every single question wrong. At least I’m consistent.
First Standup Set!
I performed my first ever standup set at Levity Live. Check it out here.
TinyRhino's First Date
My short play, Double Dipped, about jealously in relationships through the metaphor of Zayn Malik leaving OneDirection was presented as part of TinyRhino's First Date play series.
Northwestern MFA Day
An excerpt from my thesis play, Now Everything is Easy Cause of You, was performed as part of Northwestern University's MFA Day. The play is about a brother and sister who go on a ghost hunting reality TV show to seek out the spirit of their recently deceased father.
